This research aims to know Al-Tha’labi’s approach in presenting interpretive questions and how to respond to them through his interpretation entitled Al-Jawahir Al-Hasan fi Interpretation of the Qur’an, while studying these questions and comparing them with the sayings of the commentators. The descriptive approach was used in its deductive approach. This research was divided into an introduction and four chapters. And a conclusion. As for the introduction, I mentioned: the importance of the research, its objectives, and its questions, the reasons for its selection, its limitations, its methodology, and previous studies related to the subject of the research, and the research plan. The first chapter included an introduction to Imam Al-Thaalabi, the second chapter included an introduction to Al-Tha’labi’s interpretation and his sources of interpretation. The third chapter was about the meaning of questioning and interpretation linguistically and terminologically. The fourth chapter included: the interpretive questions of Imam Al-Tha’labi and his answers to them, and a discussion of those questions. The research concluded with a conclusion that included the results and recommendations, and the research was followed by a list of sources and references. The research reached a number of results, the most important of which are: His approach in responding to questions was characterized by analysis and good reasoning, the importance of questioning in interpretation because of its importance in understanding texts and repelling the illusion of contradiction. The most important recommendations: Conducting similar studies on the approaches of interpreters in presenting interpretive questions.
