Abstract:
هوش هیجانی یکی از مفاهیم با اهمیت در علوم روانشناسی و مدیریت، در دهه اخیر می باشد. هدف این مطالعه، بررسی تاثیر هوش هیجانی نیروی کار شاغل در صنایع استان فارس بر رضایت شغلی، عملکرد شغلی و تعهد سازمانی آنهاست. جامعه آماری نیروی کار شاغل در صنایع استان فارس بوده و350 نفر به صورت تصادفی به عنوان نمونه آماری انتخاب گردیدند. ابزار مورد استفاده به منظور سنجش هوش هیجانی، مقیاس تعدیل شده هوش هیجانی (MSEIS) و پرسشنامه مورد استفاده جهت جمع آوری داده های مربوط به رضایت شغلی، پرسشنامه گریکسون می باشد. پرسشنامه آلن و مایر نیز به منظور جمع آوری اطلاعات مربوط به تعهد سازمانی مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. یافته های این مطالعه، رابطه مثبت و معنی داری بین هوش هیجانی و رضایت شغلی نیروی کار و همچنین رابطه مثبت و معنی داری بین هوش هیجانی و عملکرد شغلی کارکنان نشان می دهد. در حالی که رابطه معنی دار بین هوش هیجانی و تعهد سازمانی کارکنان شرکت های تحت بررسی، ملاحظه نگردید. با توجه به نتایج این تحقیق می توان به اهمیت هوش هیجانی نیروی کار و تاثیر آن بر موقعیت شغلی پی برد.

The purposes of this study were to determine the effect of labor's emotional intelligence on job satisfaction, job performance and commitment in Fars Province industries in Iran.
The instrument to measure employees‟ emotional intelligence was the MSEIS1 (Schutte, Malouff, & Hall, 1998), and the Grikson2 (1983) was used to gather information about employees‟ job satisfaction.
In the context of the emerging affective revolution in social and organizational psychology, EI is proposed as an important predictor of key organizational outcomes including job satisfaction (Barsade & Gibson, 2007).
There is accumulating evidence that EI abilities and traits influence job satisfaction and employers should select the employees, especially in jobs that demand a high degree of social interaction (Carmeli, Yitzhak-Halevy, & Weisberg, 2009).
On the other hand, researches in management and organization showed that people with high level of EI are more effective in team performance and team leadership (Rice, 1999) and more adaptable to stressful events (Nikolaou & Tsaousis, 2002).
The researchers found that the employees' emotional intelligence was positively associated with job satisfaction and performance.
Kafetsios and Zampetakis (2008) examined the extent to which positive and negative affects at work mediate personality effect on job satisfaction by using the Wong-Law emotional intelligence scale.
Ghoniem, Khouly, Mohsen and Ibrahim (2011) examined the effect of emotional intelligence and gender on job satisfaction in three different governmental organizations in Egypt.
