The Arabic syntax castle was constructed by the great efforts done by coherent series of men and
scholars who devoted their efforts and used their minds to serve Arabic language in order to keep
“the Holy Quran” save and preserve “the Suna” (the sayings and doings of the prophet Mohammed
peace upon him).
Also to keep the Arabic tongue safe from the lesion of solecism and foreign. This construction of
Arabic syntax went through four stages, each stage is distinct, and they are all important to each
other. Therefore, the two researchers dedicated this study to reveal the reality of those stages. The
study aimed at tracking those stages so as to uncover their most prominent characteristics and
identify the scholars of those stages and their efforts in
Arabic syntax. The study adopted the descriptive methodology. It has come out with a group of
findings, the most important are: Arabic syntax went through four stages: the evolution ,
development, maturity and classification. The findings also showed that the first of what was set in
syntax rules was full of mistakes and the syntax rules that are close to minds and used in speech.
Each stage has its own characteristics that made it distinct from the other stages .
