The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of a pilates training program on static and dynamic balance the girls with hearing disabilities. Therefore were selected 16 girls 13 to 16 years of hearing disabilities (Deaf: 14.12±1.12 Year; Hard of hearing: 14.25±1.03 Year; Height of hearing: 145±5.75cm; height of the Deaf: 145.25±5.67) be available for this study and were divided in two training groups Eight persons, deaf and hard of hearing. Before performing the exercise protocol a static balance was assessed subjects by balance test stork and dynamic balance by Y balance test. The Groups performed pilates exercises for six weeks and three sessions per week (60 minutes per session). Were used of statistical tests paired t and independent t in order to analyze the data. t-test results showed significant difference the deaf and hard of hearing between the pre-test and post-test results static and dynamic balance (p≤0.05). While the not found significant difference between effects of Pilates on the static and dynamic balance hard of hearing and deaf girls. The results of this study can be said the Pilates exercises leads to improving balance in persons with hearing disabilities; so that is applied to achieve different goals such as improve athletic performance, improve damage, improve health and fitness. Therefore professionals and physical education teachers hearing Handicapped; can benefit from it in addition to other training methods considering the effects of the exercises in the field of pathology and rehabilitation and improve performance.
